Joseph completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Queensland in 2004, whilst also taking up employment with the Office of the Director Public Prosecutions in Brisbane.  Joseph was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in 2005 and commenced practising in criminal law with the DPP.  In 2006, Joseph took the opportunity to move to Cairns to continue his career with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, working extensively in the Childrens Court of Queensland, District and Supreme Courts.

Prior to joining the team at O'Reilly Stevens Lawyers, Joseph was employed as a criminal defence lawyer with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Legal Service working exclusively in the Magistrates Court.  Joseph brings his criminal law experience to O'Reilly Stevens Lawyers, joining our team in 2017.
